Different things published here carry different terms. This page says which is which; in every case the licence file shipped with the work is what controls.

Sentinel

Sentinel — the analyzer, the sentinel CLI, the diff engine, and the self-hosted Watch monitor — is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 ↗. That covers the whole of it: there is no separate tier under a different licence, and there is nothing withheld to relicense later.

The same code is published to npm as magus-mcpsentinel under the same licence. The repository ↗ holds the authoritative licence file, notices, README, and security guidance — read those before relying on the software, not this summary of them.

Also licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 ↗. The repository’s ↗ licence file and notices control use of that code.

Research papers

The preprints are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International ↗ licence, which permits reuse and redistribution, including commercially, with attribution. Each paper’s DOI record is its version of record; the on-site copy is the readable version of the same work.

Published evidence

The reports linked from the Watch pages are records of fact about software published by other people. We claim no ownership of those facts and place no licence conditions on them: cite them, quote them, re-fetch them, and check them. They were published to be verified rather than believed, and a licence that made verification awkward would defeat the point of producing them.

Website materials

Unless a page says otherwise, the original copy, diagrams, layout, and visual assets of this site — including the articles under Writing and the archived essays under Resources — are not open source. You may link to them and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source. Republishing a whole piece, translating one, or reusing the design requires written permission from Titiya Ruangkwam trading as Virasai AI.

Where one of these articles also appears on another platform, this site is the original and that copy is the syndication, regardless of which one a reader finds first.

Third-party materials

Names, trademarks, repositories, package names, research records, and external resources referenced on this site remain subject to their own rights and terms. Naming a package in order to describe what changed in it is not a claim over it, and inclusion here transfers no ownership and grants no permission to use anyone else’s marks.
